High-Temperature Ceramic
Ceramic coating — sometimes called exhaust coating or high-temperature coating — is our answer for anything a powder coat can't survive. It carries all the corrosion, chip, and fade resistance of powder, plus heat tolerance that runs well past the point where powder gives up.
Heat performance
A typical ceramic coating deflects 1,300–1,500°F. Specialized systems push to 1,700°F before thermal failure, and some applications hold up past 2,000°F. Coating both the inside and outside of a pipe or header keeps heat in the exhaust path and off surrounding components.
Finishes
Limited palette by design — ceramic chemistry doesn't cooperate with color the way powder does. We stock:
- Satin Black (most common)
- Turbo X Black (most common)
- Cast Iron Gray
- Titanium
- Blue
- Red
Applications
- Exhaust systems and headers
- Some intake manifolds
- Valve covers
- Suspension components that see heat
